Travellers Guide to the Geology of Newfoundland and Labrador Over the years, GAC Newfoundland has produced many publications. The best-known is the "Travellers Guide to the Geology of Newfoundland and Labrador", which includes a highway geology map and a simplified list of geological localities essential for every visitor. This publcation is available through the GAC online bookstore. Field Trip Guides Our most numerous publications are field trip guides from our annual field trips, held every fall. Most of these are now available here as pdf's, free for download. Hard copies are produced in small numbers and in many cases we may have no copies left. However, if you have an interest in a specific guide, contact us and we will see what we can do. We also sell some field trip guides from the National GAC-MAC meetings held in Newfoundland in 1988 and 2001. Again, not all are still available, but we do have the originals on file. GAC Newfoundland is also supporting some other publications under development, including a "Geologists Guide to Gros Morne National Park and Surrounding Areas".
