Submitting an Abstract
We are now accepting abstracts for both the general session and the thematic symposium. The abstract deadline is JANUARY 15th. We cannot guarantee the inclusion of any abstract submitted after that date, and we strongly encourage early submission to beat the mad rush of eager speakers who will want to participate next year.
Please read and follow the instructions below CAREFULLY. If we receive abstracts that require extensive editing, we will ask you to resubmit them in the correct format. Experience has taught us that people routinely fail to read the instructions and cause us all manner of headaches, and we are getting a little frustrated with the process. So, just to repeat the obvious in bold capitals -
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM OR WE WILL SEND YOUR ABSTRACT RIGHT BACK TO YOU. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH ?
- Abstracts should be no longer than one page of 12 point text. We ask that you use Times New Roman font if possible, and please do not include multiple font styles, sizes, bullets or numbered lists. They should be single-spaced.
- Abstracts should not contain graphics or equations or special symbols (unless the latter are absolutely essential).
- Abstracts should be formatted as indicated in the example (see link below) as 12 point text, in times new roman font. Please don't use multiple fonts. Please consult the example BEFORE writing your abstract.
- Preferred formats for abstract submission are Microsoft Word, Corel Wordperfect or rich text format (.rtf). Please don't send abstracts in other formats as we may not be able to read or edit them.
- Abstracts should be sent to the technical program chair as attachments to e-mail messages.
